ABOUT Garrett Mcintosh

Garrett McIntosh founded OKGN Lacrosse Camps to bring professional lacrosse caliber coaching to the Okanagan.   

 

Garrett's lacrosse career includes 7 years in the NLL with the Calgary Roughnecks and San Diego Seals, Division 1 lacrosse scholarship, Senior A with Maple Ridge Burrards, a Minto Cup Championship in 2010 with Coquitlam Adanacs and, perhaps most notably, MVP of PeeWee Provincials in 2002.

Over the winter a group of parents (certified coaches) put together an indoor clinic for the kids to improve their lacrosse skills. The last month of the clinic we had Garrett show up and assist coaching the kids.  Garrett was excellent with the kids and you could see the kids energy level increase with the way he interacted with them all.  Garrett's character and intensity gave the kids more confidence and inspired them to be better players.  Garrett's Coaching style and planned drills made the learning more enjoyable for the kids.  By the end of that month we saw a huge improvement in all the kids skill levels.  I would highly recommend Garrett’s clinics to any kid who wants to learn or improve their Lacrosse skills.  My son is excited to be able to participate in the next clinic that Garrett is planning and as a parent, and a lacrosse coach, I am very excited to have someone with this caliber teaching my kid.

FAQs

What are your Covid Protocols?

We have incorporated all stated protocols from  BC's province-wide restrictions,  Viasport's Return to Sport guidelines for BC, the  BC Lacrosse Associations Return to Lacrosse Guidelines, and the Municipal Guidelines for Kings Park (facility-specific).

Of note, we have a maximum group size of 10,  will not be scrimmaging,  will maintain 3m of the distance between athletes, and must ask parents to not field-side spectate during the sessions.

Do you have a refund/Cancellation Policy?

We can offer full refunds if canceled 4 weeks in advance and a partial refund (50%) if canceled 2 weeks in advance.​

​

In the event of a change in covid protocols that prevent the camp's operation, we will refund the full amount.
